There is a new book available to help patients and their families better understand Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Board Certified Neurologist and DCND provider, Dr. Jon Durrani released a book on the subject in early June. It’s called “The Patient’s Practical Guide: Alzheimer’s Disease.”

The book is an Alzheimer’s self-help book. It offers advice on various facets of life impacted by Alzheimer’s disease – including nutrition, employment issues, and financial planning. It offers an overview of medications to avoid, coping mechanisms, and the latest updates in Alzheimer’s research.
