Movement Disorders/Parkinson’s

There are a few different kinds of movement disorders that can impact a patients balance, coordination, speech and overall movement. They can range from tremors to over-active or under-active muscles. Some movement disorders are caused by degenerative disease such as Parkinson’s. Parkinson’s is a neuro-degenerative brain disorder that impacts the patient’s ability to regulate their movements and emotions. There is currently no cure for Parkinson’s but there are ways to treat the symptoms.
