Joe joined Dayton Center for Neurological Disorders in October of 2013. He came to us from Portsmouth, Ohio, where he worked as a physician assistant for a group of General and Vascular Surgeons for two years. Joe began his career by attending Wright State University, from which he earned a B.S. in Biology in 1997. He worked as a Microbiologist for several years, and then decided it was time to pursue his love of medicine. He attended the Kettering College of Medical Arts, from which he graduated in 2011 with his Masters of Physician Assistant.
Joe’s primary area of interest is working with Dr. Singh in the Epilepsy Center at the Neuroscience Institute at Kettering Health Network, but he also enjoys and is committed to his experiences with general neurology patients as well.
Joe is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the State of Ohio Medical Board. He is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology.
Joe is married and loves to teach his nephews and nieces about science and medicine. He enjoys reading, gardening, and is currently learning to play the drums.
