Dr. Maenpa has been a physiatrist with DCND since 2006. He has helped people with neurological conditions live better lives from the start of his career through rehabilitation & physical medicine. He has a special interest in electrodiagnostic studies (EMG) because it can give patients real-time information about what is going on. Dr. Maenpa has presented several papers locally and nationally involving traumatic brain injuries, brachial plexus injuries, plantar fasciitis and myopathies. He is also a big advocate for the amputee community and works closely with leaders in the industry. Dr. Maenpa is married with one son. In his free time, he enjoys coaching tee-ball, woodworking and gardening.
