Amanda Bettker is a Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her degree from South University in Tampa, Florida. She brings over a decade of diverse nursing experience to her practice, with a strong clinical background rooted in both acute and specialty care.
Amanda began her nursing career at Kettering Health Network, where she spent 10 years caring for patients primarily in cardiology and pre-surgical settings. She later worked at Sarasota Memorial Health in Florida for two years, specializing in head, neck, thyroid, and laryngology cancer care. Her first role as a Nurse Practitioner focused on the management of patients with traumatic brain injuries, further deepening her expertise in complex neurological conditions. Most recently, Amanda has provided comprehensive patient care in an urgent care setting.
Amanda chose a career in medicine to combine her passion for science, problem-solving, and compassionate care, with the goal of making a meaningful difference in people’s lives and improving their overall health and well-being. Her interest in neurology stems from a fascination with the complexity of the brain and its profound influence on identity, behavior, and health, and she is dedicated to using that knowledge to positively impact her patients’ lives.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves going on walks with her Great Dane, Elvis, and expresses her creativity through painting and drawing. She also enjoys line dancing in her free time.
